Background Occupational burnout is a condition that affects medical professionals, including physiotherapists. It is caused by excessive mental and physical costs incurred by the work. Aims To study the problem of job burnout among physiotherapists and determine the determinants affecting the level of burnout. Material and methods: The study included 425 people (F=287; M=138) working as physiotherapists. Age of the subjects 22-65 years (mean: 30.08; SD=6.11). The research tool was a survey questionnaire containing the author's questions and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to determine the respondents' level of job burnout.
