Background
The aging process is multifaceted and progressive, often prompting individuals to seek methods to improve their appearance. "Aesthetic physiotherapy" represents a non-invasive approach to anti-aging treatments, offering an alternative to surgical or chemical interventions.

Aims
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of selected physiotherapy techniques on facial appearance changes in women over 30 years of age.

Material and methods
The study included 27 women aged 31 to 64, divided into two groups based on entry dates and the availability of Visioscan® VC 20plus equipment. Both groups underwent trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and deep tissue massage targeting selected facial muscles. Additionally, iliopsoas muscle relaxation and post-isometric relaxation techniques were applied. In the second group, the depth of the "frown line" was measured pre- and post-intervention using the Visioscan® VC 20plus device. Participants assessed the effectiveness of the therapy by completing a self-administered questionnaire based on the Visual Analog Scale (VAS).

Results
Analysis included pre- and post-therapy facial photographs and measurements from the Visioscan® VC 20plus. A noticeable reduction in the visibility of the "frown line" was observed following the physiotherapy interventions. Furthermore, a statistically significant relationship (p < 0.05) was found between age, stress levels, and the visibility and depth of the "frown line."

Conclusions
The findings confirm that "aesthetic physiotherapy" is an effective non-invasive method for improving facial appearance, particularly in reducing the visibility of the "frown line".
