Introduction

Insufficient physical activity is one of the factors that significantly increase the global mortality risk. Due to the pandemic, numerous restrictions have been introduced, including shifting office workers to home office. Objective Analysis of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and remote work mode on the level of physical activity in office workers.

Material and methods

The study was conducted using an online diagnostic survey on a group of 143 administrative and office workers aged 21-49 who switched to remote work due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Results

The analysis of the obtained results made it possible to conclude that the physical activity in the studied group decreased significantly as a result of switching to the remote work mode.

Conclusions

In connection with the pandemic situation, it seems advisable to increase activities in the field of education and promotion of physical activity among people working remotely.
